Command permissions

Choose who can use each SUPREO command, and in which channels, from the dashboard. Kept in sync with Discord's Integrations settings.

Do this on my dashboard

Command permissions (sidebar → Community) is the dashboard version of Server Settings → Integrations → SUPREO in Discord. It reads the same settings and writes them back to Discord, so a change made on either side shows on the other.

Authorize once

Discord lets a member change command permissions, never a bot. The first time you open the page, click Authorize with Discord: Discord asks you to let SUPREO "update your apps' command permissions". Until then, the page only shows what is set.

You need Manage Server and Manage Roles in the server to save.

Default and per-command rules

  • Default for all commands applies to every command that has no rules of its own, like the top of the bot's page in Discord.
  • Each command can have its own rules. A command with rules shows Custom; Reset to default removes them, and the default applies again.
  • Set for all on a category (Tickets & support, Moderation, Community) writes the same rules to every command in it.

For each rule, ✅ allows and ❌ denies. A rule can target:

Target
A groupAdmin, Staff, Support, Moderator (Roles page) or one of your custom groups. Written as the group's roles.
A roleAny role of the server, @everyone included.
A memberBy their Discord user ID.
ChannelsDeny All channels, then allow the channels where the commands may be used. Or keep all channels and deny a few.

Discord allows 100 rules per command; a group counts as one rule per role. Commands marked "only members with the required Discord permission" (like /ban) stay hidden from other members until a rule allows them.

Groups stay in sync

When you change a group's roles on the Roles page, every command that uses the group is rewritten in Discord: the old roles go, the new ones come in. If someone changed that command directly in Discord since, it is left as it is, and its roles show one by one.

Custom groups

On the Roles page, Custom groups adds your own groups, such as Giveaway hosts: a name and its roles. Free servers can create 2, Premium 10. Deleting a group leaves its roles in Discord; they show one by one from then on.

Turn a command off, or add a cooldown

Click Edit on a command to find two settings saved by SUPREO itself, so they need no authorization and work the same with your own bot:

  • Enabled on this server: switch it off and the command stops working here. Members who try it are told it is turned off.
  • Cooldown: how long a member waits between two uses, from 3 seconds to 1 hour. It counts per member, and members with Manage Server are not limited.

A command turned off shows Off, one with a cooldown shows its delay. Without Premium, /vote cannot be turned off; its cooldown can still be set.

Good to know

  • These settings decide who sees and runs a command. SUPREO still checks its own rules after that: /ticket needs a staff tier, the moderation commands their Discord permission.
  • With your own bot, the page shows that bot's commands. To change them from here, its owner first sets up Command permissions on the Custom bot page (a redirect URL and the client secret); each manager then clicks Authorize your bot once.
  • /vote stays open to every member unless the server has Premium: without it, the command cannot be restricted, Set for all skips it, and the default for all commands does not reach it.
